The shrink cap should be 0.5mm wider than the widest diameter of the bottleneck or the closure, whichever is wider. It's essential to measure the diameter across the entire area where the capsule would sit, as the bottle’s profile may flare out along the bottleneck, or the stopper cap may be wider than the bottle opening.
