Can cork be used as a cutting mat?
We don't recommend using cork as a cutting mat. Cork is a soft wood, and the force of a knife cutting into it would greatly diminish its lifespan and cause cuts that would be difficult to clean.
How many liters are in 1kg of granulated cork?
The exact answer will depend somewhat on how densely you pack the ground/granulated cork, but we do have a rough estimate for our granulated cork. 0.5-1mm granulated cork: 1kg - 9.8 liters
Can I fiberglass over cork?
Many of our customers have successfully used fiberglass over cork. Although we do not provide direct instructions for this process, one customer has reported success using SuperSap CLR epoxy.
